A FREAKING AMAZING SHELF CLOUD: IT LOOKS CRAZY COOL.

This striking phenomena generally leads a thunderstorm, however it may precede any cold air system. Shelf clouds are unique in that they are connected to a cloud system above. Also, Wall Clouds generally *follow* storm systems, instead of leading them as shelf clouds do. A sunrise gives this cloud its amazing color.

The plural of supernova is supernovae!
Fantastic!

Triggered by powerful events, such as the collapse of a large star's core, or a "nu8clear demise" of a white dwarf, these are rare occurrences. (About once a century in average spiral galaxies.) HOWEVER! The NGC 2770 has two currently visible supernovae, as well as one that was originally spotted in 1999. While this in itself is noteworthy; an X-Ray burst, or low end GRB has been detected.
